Hello everyone! It is finally hot and sunny again! The summer is back on! Today I have for you a polish that I borrowed form a friend of mine. Prince Charming is a taupe brown polish. It kind of looks similar to Chanel's Particuliere, but they are not dupes. I love the name, but in my mind it doesn't really correspond with this colour. The polish itself is fine, though it needed three coats to get rid of bald spots and make it even. The wear was also very decent, around three days. Another thing I like is how it changes the colour depending on the light, from clearly brown to a more taupe with a hing of grey. I must say that it once again made me realize that colours like this are not my thing at all, but I'm sure a lot of people like it.
Also the place where we live seem to attract all sorts of creatures (and occasionally, people). Not only do we have neighbours who keep chickens that sometimes sneak into our garden, but we are also feeding another neighbour's cat while she's away. You can imagine my surprise when the cat food attracted a very determined hedgehog, who munched its way through a whole plate of it.

Hi guys! I hope you’ve had a good day. I’ve been baking all day, it’s my dad’s birthday tomorrow so I made him a cheesecake. Yum! Today I have another polish from Uslu Airlines to show you. It’s called BBI, named after Bhubaneswar in India. This polish is from the Bread and Butter collection for charity. It looks similar to the normal Uslu Airlines bottle, it just has 7 ml instead of 11 ml. The company describes it as a corralled bright orange, and I think it’s accurate. It’s bright orange, but it’s difficult to tell whether it is a creme or a jelly, more like something in between. It took me three coats to get it opaque and even. I wore it for two or three days, I think. The thing that I absolutely loath about this polish is the cap-brush combo. The cap is white wide plastic, reminds me of the one Nailtek has, and the brush starts exactly where the cap ends. It’s really difficult and uncomfortable to apply the polish, I couldn’t really see what I was doing. That is not what I expect from a polish that costs 11 euros. Overall I like the color, but I don’t think that it is worth the price tag or the hassle of putting git on.

Hey guys! The last couple of days were spent in total idleness, being a national holiday here and all. Lots of carrot cake and watching movies till 3 am. Oh and of course my HDD broke down taking 40+ polish swatches with it that I was planning to post. Great, just great.
Ok, on to the polish. I’m sure you all have seen this a hundred times, but I thought I’d show it anyway. Particuliere is an interesting polish, at times it sort of looks taupe, sometimes more gray, or brown, or beige. Very complex. The formula is also butter-y smooth, and perfect with just two thin coats. I don’t think I quite *get* this polish, though. Sure, it’s supposed to be a neutral, but if I want to wear something neutral I would go for milky white or the palest pink, or even something sheer. I guess on my freakishly pale skin it just is too brown, but it must be stunning on tanned skin.

Hey guys! I’m really excited today for a lot of reasons. For one it is a national holiday today here, Ligo. For another it is a special day in our family because it is my parents’ wedding anniversary and the cat’s birthday, 29 and 2 years respectively.
So today I have a very exciting and beautiful polish on. China Glaze DV8, the bright blue holo. It’s marvellous, even if it looks less holographic than the OMG one. It’s just a pity that traditionally it rains every year on this day, and today is no exception.

Hey everyone! How are you doing? How awesome is this polish? I got it last week to treat myself after the end of my studies. This is my first SpaRitual polish. I'm not sure why I haven't bought any of their polishes before, but if they are all like this, count me impressed. I really like this polish, it's green, it's sparkly. The polish itself is great as it's dense so I only needed two coats for complete coverage, it has green and gold glitter in it, and I wore it for three days. Awesome! The thing I liked the most was how comfortable it was to hold and use the brush. It must be the shape of the cap and the fact that it's rubberized.

I think that Chanel Dragon is as close to a perfect red polish as you can get. It is a bright tomato red creme polish. I like everything about it - the texture is dense and smooth, it is very shiny (no top coat here) and it lasts a long time, 4+ days on me. Sure all other brands have this colour, but this polish is a pleasure to use!
Sophie gave me this polish to try out. I have never heard of this brand, but the color is just enchanting. It doesn't have a name, just a number 112. It's a light sky blue creme. It's really pretty. The formula is not that great. Here I'm wearing two thick-ish coats. Also it did bubble just a little bit. In general the conclusion I reached that I just NEED a colour like this in my life. I wonder if OPIs What's with a cattitude is about the same shade or darker. Now I'll have to hunt down a light sky blue creme for myself!!!

Evening everyone! How are you all doing? I'm finished with my studies till September (yea!) so I've treated myself to a couple of gorgeous polishes. I'm going to show them to you in a few days. But for now I have for you something really sunny, because I just need that. It's been raining constantly for the last three days, it's cold and miserable.
So, what have we got here? Sunset is a bright yellow cream polish. The formula is okay, though it's a bit thick. It needed three coats, yet it is still slightly uneven. As much as I want to love yellow polishes, I think it is just not for me. I wish that yellow would suit me (I've wanted to get Mimosa ever since I saw the promo pictures). Pretty much every time I try yellow polishes, they look really horrible on me, make me look sick. I guess from now on I'll just have to avoid them altogether.

Uslu Airlines is a new brand to me that I got a chance to try quite by accident. In the bottle GRZ (named after Graz in Austria) was not that interesting, just dark green. The company calls this color deep patrol green. As I was putting it on I was still not sure. The first coat went on really streaky, thin and uneven. After three coats I was in love! GRZ is a deep forest green jelly. It's just gorgeous and I love that it's a jelly, it's super shiny (no top coat here) and it gives a polish real depth. It's just so stunning! It also wears rather well, about three days.

Hey everyone! It's rather gloomy and dark here, though still warm, so I decided to cheer myself up with pink polish. Today I'm wearing Purple-opolis. I've been in love with this polish for a long time, and never thought I would get my hands on it. And then ta-da! I suddenly found it in my local shop. It is an old polish, it has the thin OPI brush and is a black label. I mush say that I prefer both the new brush and the 3-free formula. How did we live before that?!
Anyway, the formula is quite thin and watery, it required three coats, and it doesn't wear as long as some of my newer OPIs, around two days I'd say. But all of it is compensated by the color. It's a pink-mauve shimmer, in the bottle it has a hint of being a duochrome, but it's rather less visible on the nails. Oh and also I love how this polish looks with a matte top coat on. It takes away the top shine of it, but underneath you can still see the shimmer. This reminds me, I need to get a better matte top coat. Any suggestions?

This is one of the polishes my dad brought for me from London. I have to say that I just LOVE this polish! I like the color, it's a really pretty pink wit a hint of purple. The formula is nice, it's not thick, goes on really well and dries fast. The best part is that it only needs one coat. That's right, just one! And of course there's the added bonus of it smelling when it's dry, though I'm still not so sure how I feel about that. It's nice that the scent is flowery and not very strong, only really perceptible if you actually smell your nails. The downside is that you can't wear a top coat if you want to keep the scent.

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Today I have for you a very pretty purple. Dreamy Purple from Misa is purple shimmer with a hint of blue and sometimes even magenta. All in all a very beautiful polish. The formula was not so great. It was thick and kind of gooey. Even the thinner didn't help much. It also took a while to dry. But for such a color I don't really mind!
It has been really hot and stuffy here lately. By 10 am it is already +30. The one who suffers the most in this heat is the cat. I guess I would be grumpy as well if I had to wear a fur coat all day long.

The weather is perfect and I can't imagine a better nail polish to hang out in the sun than a holographic polish! So here's one. Kaleidoscope Him Out is a light blue goodness in a bottle. It is simply stunning in the sun, with all the different colors that suddenly appear. This is two coats, and can you believe that I wore it for four days without any trouble? This was borrowed from a friend, so I need to get one for myself, I've been going crazy over holo polishes recently, just as like I did about glitter before that :) It is definitely a plus that it's still available here.
