This is the kind of green polish that I really like. It is not too bright or in your face and it has a lovely golden shimmer. Granted the shimmer is more noticeable in the bottle than on the nails, but it adds interest to the polish. And it is Hema. I like Hema a lot. I tried their products last year in Amsterdam and liked many of them. This was two coats, and upon further investigation, the golden shimmer is actually made up of tiny flakes. Lovely!

When Max Factor came out with their Max Effect mini polishes, everyone pounced at how great Fantasy Fire was and how it reminded everyone of that one amazing elusive Clarins polish.
But there are actually a few other shades that I find quite interesting. Around here Max Factor have redone their displays for the first time ever, and they now include a handful of mini Max Effects. Meteorite is a pretty polish, a sort of purple leaning blue, and the finish is kind of a foil, I guess. This was two coats.

This is possibly the coolest polish I own. It overshadows almost every holographic polish I've tried, I like it so much.
I also like how SpaRitual mentions the finish of their polishes on the bottom of the bottle. This one is supposed to be a glitter. I'd say they are flakies in a jelly base, but whatever. It doesn't change how awesome this polish is.
The application is okay. I needed three coats to make it look great. The first coat was sheer and ugly brown. The second was slightly better, with the third coat evened everything out.

Japanese Rose Garden hasn't been in my stash for a long time, yet it became a favourite quite quickly. It's not like it is very original, original, yet I love this polish. It is just adorable and girly. A soft rosy a pronounced silver-white shimmer. I also really like the formula on this one, it is pretty much opaque and perfect in one fairly thick coat. Here I'm wearing two thin coats. Wearing this polish I feel like h I feel like I should be wearing a flowery dress, while enjoying afternoon tea and cakes with a group of A)

I own about 6 orange polishes in all and they all look pretty much the same - bright orange with some sort of yellow or gold shimmer. #235 is the only Kiko polish I own or have ever tried. The polish itself is fine, it dried fairly quickly and I'm wearing three coats here. The colour reminds me of autumn around here, of all the beautiful leafs that will be changing colour fairly soon.

I've been maniacally redoing the garden around our house. We've decided that a vegetable patch would be a cool thing to have, but it is such hard work! All the digging and shoveling the earth, every part of my body aches. My nails don't look that great these days, so I repaint them almost on the daily basis. Gives me a chance to wear all those untrieds.
Amethyst is a really cute pink-lilac foil. It dries really quickly. I used two coats here. It is really easy to apply and the wear time is great, even after two full days of gardening, these was no tip wear.

From the outset FYI seems like a really boring colour. It's pale and neutral and beige. It is also slightly holographic which changes things completely. This is one of those polishes that is perfect for all those occasions when a bright green or blue polish is just inappropriate. Two coats are enough for complete coverage. The holographic effect is not very strong, but still noticeable.
Bonus swatch with a blurry bee.

I don't really know how to describe this colour. It's a dark, jewel shimmery shade with a hint of red, brown, purple and even a flash of blue. This was two coats. Lovely colour, especially perfect for autumn.
This is what I'm currently wearing, since around here summer is well and truly over. Actually, there were about a total of 15 hot days this summer, the most miserable summer I can remember! Wooly socks have been my friends for a month now.
