OPI "Sheer" Your Toys

I'm leaving for my exchange semester in France tomorrow. I can't believe how quickly the time has come.
Today I'm wearing 'Sheer' Your Toys, an older polish from OPI, but it is a fabulous one - pale grey with a hint of pearl shimmer AND tiny copper bits. From looking at this polish you'd think that is would be rather sheer, but I only had to use 2 coats.

Blogiversary Giveaway Closed

I started this blog exactly on the 26th of January two years ago. I was thinking of a way to give back to all my readers, and I think I have come up with the perfect gift.
The polish I get the biggest number of questions is OPI DS Glamour, and since I have a spare bottle, one reader will get it from me as a gift.

To take part in the giveaway, you need to be a GFC follower of the blog, and leave a comment here with your name, e-mail and country where you're from.
The giveaway is opened internationally, and ends on February 13th. The winner will be chosen randomly.

Good luck!

Barry M Chameleon Pink

I think I like the idea of this polish better than the polish itself. The formula of this polish is really, really nice. It covers in just one smooth, buttery coat. Without top coat it is a medium shimmery pink. But it is when the top coat is added that the real magic happens. The pink turns into bright purple. But that is also where I had a bit of trouble with this polish.
Since I try to paint my nails as close to the cuticle as possible, adding top coat over the polish completely and not flooding the cuticle is difficult. Also it proved difficult to get an even colour, in some cases I must have added more top coat or overlapped the brushstrokes to produce a darker shade of purple.
But all in all it is great to be able to change the colour of my polish with just top coat without redoing my nails :)

Catrice Marilyn & Me

Hey there! Long time, no posts. I somehow have fallen off the blogging wagon for a little bit. I can't quite wrap my mind around the fact that in a few weeks time I will be in France.

Since I'm still in the holiday mood, I decided to show you a rather festive polish - Catrice 550 Marilym & Me. It is a great polish, a red shimmery jelly with a little bit of red glitter thrown in the mix. It only needs two coats, dries quickly and looks like strawberries :)
