Current NOTD - Fantasy Fire

I've been playing with Max Factor Fantasy Fire today, layering it over various polishes. I've worn it many times over OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest and Barry M Navy, but I think this is my favourite one. I layered  Fantasy Fire over a plum creme polish (Max Factor Intense Plum). I love how it looks.
My cousin is getting married in a couple of months, and the wedding colour is purple. I think I've just found what I am going to wear on my nails :)

OPI Moon Over Mumbai

I've spent a considerable time last week in bed with a cold. Just my luck to get sick with summer just around the corner.
I have a few very exciting recent additions to my stash (Dance Legend Holos et.), but because it has been raining for weeks now, I will wait for the sun to show them off. For now I would like to show you an older OPI polish. Moon Over Mumbai is from Spring 2008. It is a pretty shimmery white-grey, it sort of reminds me of pearls. The visible nail line with this polish drove me insane, so I used 3-4 coats. But I think you can use fewer coats as well.

Catrice King of Greens #740

When I first tried this polish some time in January, I quickly realized that it would be one of my favourite green polishes out there. I call it 'none of the above green' as it is so difficult to describe - it is not light green or dark green, it is not bright, neon, pastel etc., it is not moss green or forest green. It is none of the above green.
It has the most fantastic green shimmer in it, and it needs just two coats. I don't really like the brush in this polish, but it's ok.

China Glaze Pink Voltage

There really is not much to say about Pink Voltage. It's pint, it's bright, it's neon, it also has some blue shimmer in it. I picked it up at my local shop when they were selling off Knockout Neons packages for a ridiculously low price. It is an older bottle with white label, so it takes a while to dry, but I really like the colour. It's the kind of neon I can wear. This was three thin coats.

Barry M Silver Lilac

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of posts. I may or may not have spent a whole week doing absolutely nothing. I also haven't been painting my nails as much. For some reason the polishes I would usually rely on to give me great application, fast drying and good wear back home, behave completely differently here in France. I hardly wear any polish  for longer than a couple of days.

Barry M #324 Silver Lilac is a silver and lilac polish as the name implies, but it also has hints of pink and green in it. It sort of reminds me of OPI Not Like The Movies. The formula is fine, but I needed three thin coats for it to be completely opaque. As for the colour, it's not my favourite, but I'm sure some people love it.
