Hey guys! Sorry for being absent. I've started my first proper job after finishing university, and it involves really long hours, quite the horrid uniform, and no bright nails since I work with customers. Apparently, there are a lot of french manicures in my future :(
On a slightly nicer note, I try to wear bright and dark polishes on my days off. I got Jessica Showstopper last autumn, and it is a very fitting shade for that season - sort of olive green, with silver shimmer that makes it kind of brushstroke-y, which in this case I really like. It is definitely an ugly-pretty shade.
My bottle has a very weird half-shaved brush which makes application difficult, but the formula is fine, you only need two coats, but because of my brush I used three coats.

Jessica Bikini Blue
I love pale blue, green and blue-green polishes of all kinds. I like how they look, so you can bet I'm craving Dior Porcelaine. But for now I'm making do with Jessica Bikini Blue, one of the palest blue polishes I have. Comparison-wise it is quite close to Essence You Belong To Me.
This was three thin coats and top coat.

Jessica Born 2 Pansy
France is driving me slightly crazy :) It seems that I live in a neighborhood full of exhibitionists and voyeurs. People seem to prefer to have large windows and no curtains. But the absolute worst thing for me is the fact that the walls here are paper thin. I can hear everything that is happening in the neighbors' flats.
This is a very, very stunning polish. It is all in the shimmer, it changes colour from pink and purple to green and blue. The polish is from last spring and itself is on the sheer side, so I used three coats here. I love how feminine this polish looks.

Jessica Blue Diamond

Finally, finally, finally I have some free time. I'm done with all my exams, and it seems that I'm going to pass them all pretty well. I'm looking forward to putting up the Christmas tree tomorrow, me and the cat will have to battle over the decorations. Also some free time means that I can catch up on some sleep. I've spent the last couple of days sewing a present for my mum, I've raided her fabric stash and made her a few aprons for Christmas.
Okay, so this polish is amazing! This is my first Jessica polish and I'm very impressed both by the colour and the formula. Blue Diamond #816 is a lovely dark blue polish. What makes it super awesome is the blue AND green shimmer. Amazing! This was two coats, but if you are careful I think you can get away with just one. I wore this polish for three days without any problems before I decided to try a new top coat, and I woke up with a bad case of pillow fingers for the first time in years. Now I know Jessica polishes don't work with Essence top coats.
